What would be helpful would be to build up some information about what a fresh battery level looks like and what it is at 90-100 days and what it is when the transmitter stops functioning correctly. (Note that you can set up a Nightscout and use those I have read just a little bit here and there about using xdrip+ to collect Dexcom G6 data with a Sony watch (sorry, can’t remember the name right now).

Pre-soaking of the G6 with factory calibration is likely to give variation in results. If you do pre-soak, then to get best results, you will probably need to calibrate the sensor. If you aren’t being observant about the changes that may be taking place, it may be better to revert to non-factory-calibrated mode and use the system like a G5.

I have read just a little bit here and there about using xdrip+ to collect Dexcom G6 data with a Sony watch (sorry, can’t remember the name right now). I would like to set this up for my daughter, but I’m not sure how to start. I don’t understand what Nightscout is or how it enters into things. I read the steps posted here xDrip+ with Sony Smartwatch3 (self made CGM) for setting this up
