The walls are pierced by shot-holes, and the windows still have iron yetts. Jewel of the Scottish Crown though sadly now a ruin.

When we saw Kilmartin Castle for sale, it had been a ruin for 200 years and was in an incredibly original state. Typically, the Victorians would make the windows larger and add ugly extensions to buildings like this one. Luckily, Kilmartin Castle was overlooked and left roofless for 200 years.
